WILLMAR -- Jordan Martins made 17 saves but it still wasn't enough as the Willmar girls soccer team fell to Sartell 3-1 in Central Lakes Conference soccer action Monday.

The freshman goalkeeper also had to face two penalty kicks.

"... the first one she de-flected. Every save she had was unbelievable," said Willmar coach Chelsea Brown.

Chloe Donoho's goal in the 49th minute tied the game 1-1 for the Cardinals (4-7-1, 6-8-1), but Sartell (8-2-2, 9-5-2) got a penalty kick in the 60th minute, which Zoe Meyer booted in.

"This is the fifth game that we've lost to penalty kicks," Brown said.
