WILLMAR -- Baylie Young netted four goals in Willmar's regular-season finale as the Cardinals blanked Central Lakes Conference rival Sauk Rapids 5-0 Thursday in girls soccer.

WILLMAR -- Baylie Young netted four goals in Willmar's regular-season finale as the Cardinals blanked Central Lakes Conference rival Sauk Rapids 5-0 Thursday in girls soccer.

Willmar (3-8-1, 7-9-1) netted two goals in the first half before Young notched a hat trick in the final 40 minutes of play. Sara Kallhoff scored the other goal for Willmar, which won for the third time in its last four matches.

"Young had a phenomenal (match)," said Willmar coach Jeff Winter. "We're playing our best soccer at the right time."
