WILLMAR - Alexandria relinquished only the point at 1-single defeating Willmar 6-1 on Thursday in Central Lakes Conference girls tennis.
Cayle Hovland beat Ellie Bergstrand 6-2, 6-0 for Willmar’s point.
Jordyn Swoboda and Bergen Vollan took the first only to fall in extra set at 2- and 4-singles, respectively.
Alexandria (5-2, 10-5) swept doubles.
Willmar (2-4, 6-8) is at Fergus Falls (1-4, 2-7) today with a 4:30 p.m. start.
