LITTLE FALLS -- The Willmar girls tennis team inched closer to the .500 mark in Central Lakes Conference action with a 5-2 win over Little Falls Monday.
The Cardinals (3-4, 5-7) have two conference duals left in the regular season: at home against Rocori today at 4:30 p.m. and at Fergus Falls Thursday.
Katie Switzer led a Cardinals' straight-set sweep in singles by winning her 1-singles match 6-1, 6-1. Carrie Boike, Kali Johnson and Kayli Gimse continued the domination.
Willmar's Abby Kack and Alex Linbo picked up the Cardinals' only doubles point, winning their 3-doubles match in straight sets.
