Willmar's Grace Sawyer took second place individually at the first Central Lakes Conference meet of the season at Eagle Creek Golf Club.
The Cardinals took sixth as a team with a 393, just one stroke behind St. Cloud Tech and Fergus Falls, which tied for fourth place. Alexandria paced the field with a dominant 355, besting second-place Brainerd's 381 by a wide margin. Alexandria also featured the top individual of the day in Bridget Amundson, who carded an 81, five strokes better than Sawyer.
