MINNEAPOLIS -- Kelsi Magers of Redwood Valley posted the best finish amongst the area's six competitors at state gymnastics meet Friday at the Sports Pavilion on the campus of University of Minnesota.
Magers, a junior, had a score of 9.375 on the Class A vault to place 14th. Also in the vault, Benson/KMS senior Michele Hanson finished 29th with a score of 8.8625.
Kelsey Jacobson, a sophomore from Willmar, placed 23rd in the Class AA vault with a score of 9.4125
Litchfield sophomore Breanna Berry was 19th on the Class A beam with an 8.6375 and New London-Spicer sophomore Alana Dietz was 31st on the Class A floor with an 8.475. Another NLS sophomore, Allison Bratberg, competed in all-around and placed 27th (34.45) with scores of 8.7375 on vault, 8.6125 on bars, 8.3 on beam and 8.8 on floor.
