FERGUS FALLS -- St. Cloud Tech captured the Central Lakes Conference tournament title on Satuday and the Tigers also won the overall conference title.
The Tigers amassed 142.525 points in the tournament (based on a 9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 points system), earning nine points. The Tigers also were 8-0 in dual meets this season for a total of 17 points.
Willmar was fourth in the tournament with a 136.9 and also finished fourth overall with 12 points.
Kaitlyn Lindblad had the highest finish for the Cardinals in any event, placing second on the balance beam with a 9.275.
"To take the top three in this competition we needed to hit 20 routines out of 20," said Willmar coach Larry Selchow. "We had mistakes and the placement showed it. Ashley Delp had a great day, hitting four of five events, as was exciting to watch. Abbey Weiler's floor routine was amazing. And Kelsey Jacobson hit two very impressive vaults."

Delp was 10th all-around with a 34.875, finishing finishing sixth on beam and seventh on vault. Weiler was seventh on floor (8.975) and Jacobson was fourth on vault (9.275).
