St. Scholastica freshman Justin Hanson, from Atwater, was named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week recently.
Hanson, an Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City graduate, was named for the second time after breaking school records in both the 60-meter and 200-meter hurdles at University of Wisconsin-Superior Blizzard Open Saturday. In the 60-meter hurdles, he ran a time of 8.81 seconds and in the 200-meter hurdles, he ran a winning time of 26.74.
