EDINA — The Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson Boyd dance team completed its state championship sweep for the third year in a row.
The Shadows won the state Class A high kick championship Saturday at Edina High School after capturing the state jazz title on Friday.
It’s the third straight year that LQPV/D-B has completed the feat.
“With a very humble heart, we are so proud to be three-time double state champions,” head coach Lisa Johnson said in a statement on Facebook. “There are no words to describe this ride that these amazing young ladies have taken us on.”
LQPV/D-B had three rank points, meaning the three judges whose scoring was used had the Shadows as the top team.
