GROVE CITY — Taking the snaps often from a shotgun look, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City senior quarterback Luke Trebil was most dangerous with his legs.

On designed runs or scrambles out of the pocket, Trebil ran all over Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa to the tune of four touchdown runs. With more than 400 yards on the ground, ACGC earned a 34-0 shutout on Friday during the Mid State District game from Falcon Field.

Trebil finished with 223 rushing yards on 18 carries. Falcons junior Landon Blom chipped in 101 rushing yards on 21 carries and a touchdown.

The hosts scored on their first possession, capped by a Trebil scamper from 14 yards out. The senior added two more first-half rushing touchdowns on a 27-yard run and another 14-yard rumble through the Jaguars defense. In the second half, Trebil continued to dazzle with a 70-yard run to paydirt.
