Tyler Hinrichs, who broke a 32-year-old Bethel University 1,500-meter record Saturday, and Kaelene Lundstrum, a junior at Gustavus Adolphus, were named MIAC Track Athletes of the Week Monday.
Hinrichs, a senior from Clara City, ran a provisional qualifying mark in Sioux Falls. Lundstrum, from Bird Island, was first in the MIAC heptathlon and also recorded a provisional qualifying mark with 4,550 points.
