WILLMAR -- It was a nice day for the Jacobsons and also for Bill Dale.
Andy Jacobson won the Eagle Creek match play championship while his mother, Lori, beat defending champion Jean Larson in the women's open championship.
Dale beat Tom Wo-dash in sudden death in the seniors championship.
Andy Jacobson also tipped the defending champion for his title when he took out Matt Gorans on the 15th hole late Sunday afternoon.
Gorans beat Jacobson by the same 4-and-3 score exactly a year ago.

Andy Jacobson also won the stroke play club title in July at Eagle Creek and the Little Crow Shortstop and Eagle Creek Early Bird on the first weekend in June.
Aaron Barber, a former PGA pro from New London and now Maple Grove, did edge Jacobson for the Lakeland Tournament championship in late June.
Jacobson played his best golf in the semifinals beating Danny Anderson 2-and-1.
"That was a great match," said Jacobson of the Sunday morning semifinal. "I played a lot better golf that match and Danny was tough. I putted a lot better and we were both solid."
Gorans stopped Scott Carruthers in his semifinal match. The final was played in a hot southerly wind on quick greens. Jacobson was 2-up at the turn and cruising to the win when he chunked his approach on No. 13 and popped his second shot over the green on No. 14.
"I hit some poor shots coming in; it's a good thing I had some cushion," said the 31-year-old insurance agent.
Dale won a tough match in the semifinals when he ousted Norm Strehlow 2-up. Strehlow was going for the trifecta after posting wins at the Lakeland Senior and the club senior stroke play.
Wodash could have won the match on the 18th but hurried a virtual tap-in and the miss allowed Dale to even the match. He won it on the first extra hole.

Jacobson lost to Larson last year on the 36th and final hole. This time she shot a 39 on the front to take a 4-hole lead and finished the match on the 13th.
Other champions Sunday included Dan Ridler in Super Senior and Tommy Warzecha in Men's First Flight.
