A Texas middle school has unleashed a trick play called "The Penalty Play," and a video of the successful play is running across the Internet.

The Driscoll Middle School team was down 6-0 near the end of the third quarter of a championship game when the team pulled out their trick play.

After the team was flagged penalty and the referee marked off five yards, the quarterback yells to the center the ball was in the wrong spot. The quarterback then takes the ball and marks off five yards, then starts running for the end zone and scores. The extra point failed.

The game between Driscoll and rival Wynn Seale Saturday in Corpus Christi, Texas, ended in a 6-6 tie.

The trick play video has now gotten noticed across the United States and Europe.
