NEW ULM — Michael D’Orazio made 38 saves to earn the shutout in the Willmar WarHawks’ 3-0 NA3HL victory over the New Ulm Steel on Friday night.

It was D’Orazio’s first victory for Willmar. He’s an 18-year-old goaltender from Beaconsfield, Quebec.

Braydon Buckingham, Chandler Dennis and Christian Kankelfritz scored goals for the WarHawks.

The teams resume their two-game series at 7:10 p.m. Saturday at the Willmar Civic Center Arena.
