WILLMAR — The command to start your engines at KRA Speedway will have to wait at least one more week.
Due to the heavy rain showers that drenched much of Willmar Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, Thursday’s 2020 season opener was canceled as the 3/8-mile dirt track was not dry enough for competition.
Now, the first green flag at the speedway is set to be waved on July 9th. The event is sponsored by Kandi Water Conditioning of Spicer.
Seven classes — Pure Stock, WISSOTA Modifieds, Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Street Stocks, Mod Fours and Hornets — will be in action.
