Kuyvenhoven joins Tribune sports desk

Jacob Kuyvenhoven has joined the West Central Tribune team as a sports reporter.
Jacob graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this past spring.
He has interned at KVRR Fox in Fargo, WOOD TV8 in Grand Rapids and as a PR assistant for the NBA D-League’s Grand Rapids Drive. He also served as the sports editor of his college newspaper.
He is an NBA junkie who still carries a fondness for all four Detroit sports teams and University of Michigan sports, but prides himself on not being a homer. He is a former college cross country and track runner who still enjoys dragging himself out there once in a while. His other interests include music, movies, board games and disc golf.
