WILLMAR -- Coming off a disappointing overtime loss to Mesabi Range a day earlier, the Ridgewater Lady Warriors regrouped and drubbed Gustavus Adophus JV 73-61 in a women's basketball game on Saturday.
"We were confident on the offensive end," said Ridgewater coach Carrie Ogdahl. "And our defensive half-court pressue bothered them. We played with a lot of energy and we were much more aggressive than the night before."
Kelsey Guetter scored a game-high 23 points and pulled down seven rebounds for the Lady Warriors (3-2). She scored 14 of her points in the first half when the Lady Warriors led 36-27. Guetter finished 9-for-15 from the floor and 5-for-8 from the free-throw line.
Alii Holt and Jena Thompson supplied 13 points apiece. Whitley Strei was also in double figures with 12 points to go along with four assists.
Mia Sandstrom led Gustavus with 16 points.

Ridgewater hosts North Dakota State College of Science at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
