GRANITE FALLS -- The Granite Falls American Legion baseball team put eight runs on the board in the first two innings and went on to beat Prinsburg 10-0 in five innings at Richter Field on Monday.
Derek Dyrdahl and Garrett Cole each delivered two-run hits during a six-run first-inning for the home team.
Brandon Grund came home on a passed ball for the second run of the fifth inning to end the game early.
Aaron Zieske pitched a tight three-hitter with one walk and five strikeouts for the win. Sam Ohden took the loss.
Grant Hoekstra, Nate Gerdes and T.J. Stoel each singled for Prinsburg.
