HECTOR - Litchfield scored twice in the top of the ninth inning to take the lead, and Stan Ridgeway finished off his complete game in the bottom of the inning for a Legion win on Thursday in Hector.
Litchfield’s Hayden Lien doubled to lead off the seventh and scored on Dylan Kotzer’s single, and Jake Schultz, who walked with one out, came around to score the winning run.
Ridgeway gave up nine hits and a walk, but surrendered just three earned runs and he struck out five.
Lien and Kotzer both had two hits and Kotzer finished with two RBIs.
Hector’s Tanner Edwards, Brad Ebbers and Mason Olinger both had two hits. Ebbers drove in two runs.

All nine BOLD starters had at least one hit as the Mudhens wrapped up the Legion victory in five innings in Bird Island.
Austin Weis hit a two-run homer and went the distance for the win. He allowed two unearned runs and struck out eight.

A defensive interference call allowed Granite Falls to score the go-ahead run in the sixth inning and Blake Lindstrom pitched a scoreless seventh and picked up the win over Sacred Heart/MACCRAY on Thursday in Sacred Heart.

Tanner Wenninger was one out from pitching a no-hitter and pinch-hitter Matt Henderson hit an RBI double in the sixth inning to lift the visitors based out of Fairfax on Thursday.

Tri-Town owned a 1-0 lead when Jaren Kaddatz walked and scored on error in the third. But Adam Johnson’s one-out single in the seventh inning was the Black Sox’s next-best chance of scoring as Wenniger struck out six in the victory.
