Legion Baseball: Wendlandt strong in Litch win

Ross Wendlandt pitched a complete game and Carson Deal had three hits to help the Litchfield Legion team past Waconia 3-2 and into the next round of the Division I, District 15 playoffs on Wednesday.
Litchfield will face the winner of the Cold Spring-Cokato game 10 a.m. today in Marshall.
Wendlandt also drove in a run and scored a run, and Deal doubled twice.
Jake Schultz added a hit and an RBI.
Wendlandt scattered 11 hits and one earned run while striking out four.
