WILLMAR - Josh Tinklenberg drove in the winning runs in the bottom of the sixth and Tyler Stegeman set Marshall down in order as the Willmar Legion team remained undefeated with a 4-2 victory Tuesday at soggy Bill Taunton Stadium.
Willmar’s Cole Christensen allowed two runs on two hits while striking out three.
Willmar improved to 6-0. They play in the St. Cloud Tournament, beginning Thursday against Cold Spring in Cold Spring at 4 p.m. Willmar plays two games Friday at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud.
Stegeman was 2-for-3 and drove in a fifth-inning run that put Willmar up 2-0.
Brett Swanson was 1-for-2 and scored a run and Sam Vreeman also had a hit and scored a run.
