WILLMAR -- Willmar American Legion Post 167 used three pitchers to collar Kerkhoven 6-1 on Thursday at Baker Field.
Coach Wade Adamson used the threesome starting with Jake Damhof to get his pitchers back in the grove of throwing.
This is the third summer game for Willmar (3-0), which is back in action today hosting Hector back at Baker.
Damhof went four innings, Damon Ruter two and Jake Rambow the seventh in a combined seven-hitter.
Six players shared Willmar's eight hits.
