HECTOR - Tyler Stegeman threw five innings of perfect relief and struck out eight as the Willmar Legion team downed Hection 9-1 on Thursday.
Stegeman relieved starter Cole Hagen in the third inning.
Stegeman also had three hits, drove in a run and scored three times.
Tony McCleary had two hits and drove in two runs.
Mason Olinger had Hector’s only hit and Tate Lange took the loss while striking out 12.

Willmar is at Litchfield on Monday, while Hector has a week off before hosting Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop next Thursday.
