CLARA CITY -- Teagan Molden netted 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help MACCRAY edge Redwood Valley 53-46 in a non-conference girls basketball game Monday.
The win allowed MACCRAY to finish the regular season unbeaten at home with a 9-0 record.
The Wolverines (17-5) enjoyed a 10-point lead much of the second half before Redwood Valley (6-15) cut it to six with 6:16 remaining. MACCRAY kept its composure down the stretch to seal its sixth straight win.
Kailee Epema added 13 points to help out the MACCRAY offense as Abbey Thissen, the team's second-leading scorer, was held to just three points. Christal Stavne collected eight of the Wolverines' 32 rebounds and Molden also had four blocked shots.
Jessica Fischer had a game-high 22 points for the Cardinals and Liz Smith pumped in another 19. Only three other players scored for Redwood Valley (6-15) and they combined for just five points.
