PRINSBURG - A strong second half helped MACCRAY pull away in a 69-43 victory over Central Minnesota Christian School in a Camden Conference game on Thursday.
CMCS was within six points of the Wolverines at halftime, but MACCRAY put up 41 second-half points, outscoring the Bluejays by 20.
MACCRAY’s Alicia Ervin and Sydney Schwitters both scored 14 points, and Emily Wrede and Emily Orwick both scored eight points.
Emily Orwick had 11 rebounds and Schwitters had six boards and five assists, and Ervin had eight assists and four steals.
CMCS’ Kalley Schwitters scored a game-high 19 points and she also had three steals.

Allison Bulthuis had 10 points and eight rebounds and Ellie Greenwaldt had 10 rebounds and three steals.
The Bluejays play at Hancock in a boys-girls doubleheader on Tuesday. The Wolverines, now 4-1 in the conference and 6-2 overall, play host to Montevideo at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Clara City.
