Due to the inclement weather on Friday, the MCAC state softball tournament in Sauk Rapids will now start play today.
The Ridgewater Lady Warriors will open against Central Lakes at 11 a.m. today in the quarterfinals. Win or lose, Ridgewater will play another game at 1 p.m. A win in its second game will allow Ridgewater to play another game at 3 p.m. today.
There are 11 games scheduled for today and three -- with the possibility of a fourth -- on Sunday.
