BRAINERD - Central Lakes hit the century mark for the second consecutive game Friday, thrashing visiting Ridgewater 108-62.
The Raiders (5-3) led 58-27 at halftime after going 23-for-37 (62 percent) from the field. Central Lakes cooled off in the second half, shooting 58 percent, but Ridgewater shot at a 38-percent clip, squelching any possibility of a comeback.
“They biggest thing was that they got us in transition, getting up and down the floor before we could get anything going,” said first-year Ridgewater coach Darren Tighe. “And we didn’t take care of the ball well in the first half.”
Tyler Stegeman had 15 points - behind a trio of 3-pointers - Dashawn Coleman 13 and Eugene Bonner 11 to pace the Ridgewater offense.
The Warriors (5-3) play in Cloquet on Saturday to face Fond du Lac at 3 p.m.
