COON RAPIDS - Head coach Bob Knutson said his Ridgewater men’s basketball team played one of its best games of the season Wednesday, but it wasn’t enough to offset Anoka-Ramsey’s talent in the Golden Rams’ 83-74 victory.

“We put together a really good game,” Knutson said. “But that’s a really good team with a lot of talent. But our guys aren’t giving up and they played well.”

Beau Herrig led the Warriors with 22 points and 10 rebounds in his second-to-last game as a Warrior.

Same with second-year man Terrance Lockett, who finished with 27 points.

DeJuan Curry and Melvin Kromah both scored 7 points and Brett Rickheim had 5 points and 7 boards.
