WILLMAR - Ridgewater’s season ended with a 83-76 loss to M State Fergus Falls on Saturday.

The Warriors finish up with a 6-20 record.

Ridgewater head coach Bob Knutson said the Minnesota Collegiate Athletic Conference has been tough this season.

“This league this year was extremely solid,” Knutson said. “Top to bottom there were some great teams. A lot of good teams didn’t make the playoffs.”

James Morris scored 25 and Luke Gaines 20 for M State.

Terrance Lockett and Beau Herrig led the Warriors with 15 points each in the final game at Ridgewater for both players.

It was also the last game for Melvin Kromah, who scored 10.

“I had three great sophomores with Beau, Terrance and Mel,” Knutson said. “They put a lot of time and energy into the season. It was disappointing for those guys, but we’ll move on.”
