GLENWOOD -- Minnewaska captured the West Central South Conference girls basketball title outright with a 68-43 win over BOLD Friday.
It was the second straight conference title for Minnewaska Area.
The Lakers (14-1, 17-4) held a commanding 40-15 lead at halftime, helped by 19 points from Emily Roering, who didn't score in the second half. She also added five steals.
Allie Ostrander added 11 points for Minnewaska. Sarah Roering grabbed nine rebounds.
Tyann Caspers and Brittany Nissen tallied eight points each for the Warriors (1-15, 1-21). Brittany Dahlk pulled down seven rebounds.
