CLARA CITY -- MACCRAY tuned up for today's Camden inter-conference title game at Canby by overpowering Yellow Medicine East with a deep bench and a strong second half 54-31 on Monday.
The Wolverines (19-3) held a 23-16 lead at the break, but delivered a 31-15 burst post-intermission.
Teagan Molden was alone in double figures with 18 points for MACCRAY and Hannah Knott added nine points and nine rebounds.
Jenna Tebben and Alicia Koenen, normally among the scoring leaders, combined for just six points, but the Wolverines' bench picked up the slack. Tebben pulled down seven rebounds.
Aimee Johnson paced YME with 10 points and six steals. The Sting were held to just 10 field goals overall out of 45 attempts (22 percent).
