WAHPETON, N.D. -- North Dakota State College of Science shot over 50 percent from the field en route to drubbing Ridgewater 87-63 in a men's college basketball game Wednesday.
The Wildcats (10-1) were 36-for-70 from the field, including 6-for-17 from three-point range. Ridgewater shot only 33 percent (28-for-85) from the field and made just two 3-pointers in 20 attempts. NDSCS, which won its seventh straight, also had a 52-45 edge in rebounding.
The teams played to a 41-41 tie in the second half, but NDSCS led 46-22 at halftime to take control early.
Roderick Jones posted a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds, Nathan Nietfeld had 17 points and seven rebounds to pace Ridgewater (4-2). Adam Sadlemeyer added nine points and Joey Offerdahl also pulled down seven rebounds for the Warriors.
Thirteen players scored for the Wildcats with Mario Monroe sparking the balanced attack with 12 points.

Ridgewater hosts Rainy River on Friday at 8 p.m. in its next game.
