ST. JOSEPH - New London-Spicer won the Section 6AA volleyball title with a 25-15, 25-18, 25-20 victory over Sauk Centre at the College of St. Benedict Saturday.
Senior Taylor Thompsen led the way with 15 kills, followed by senior Karli Wendlandt with 10.
Pairings for the state Class AA tournament, which begins Thursday at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, will not be available until after the top four teams are seeded. The Wildcats ranked ninth in the final Class AA poll.
