ST. CLOUD - The New London-Spicer football team stayed unbeaten Saturday after the Wildcats upended Minneapolis North 28-8 in the quarterfinals of the Class AAA State Tournament at Husky Stadium.
The Wildcats (12-0) will now play either Kasson-Mantorville or Waseca in the semifinals next Saturday at the Metrodome. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. Glencoe-Silver Lake and Mora square off in the other semifinal.
