NEW LONDON -- Jayme Moten scored nine of New London-Spicer's 13 points in overtime to lead the Wildcats to a 73-68 win over Litchfield in non-conference boys basketball action Friday.
Moten finished with a game-high 24 points and made the game-tying free throw to send the game into overtime.
Jon Terning, who paced the Dragons (1-2) with 19 points, sank a three-pointer to give Litchfield a one-point lead in regulation. Moten was fouled with four seconds left and made 1-of-2 from the line.
Dallen O'Brien contributed 22 points for NLS, making 5-of-6 three-pointers. Brandon Zylstra and Nate Olson had nine points apiece.
Derek Koll scored 16 points for Litchfield, Justin Walters added 11 points and Zach Kinny had nine points and 11 rebounds.
