WILLMAR — The Willmar Stingers lost 3-2 to the Eau Claire Express on Thursday night at Bill Taunton Stadium.
Eau Claire, which beat Willmar 12-10 in Wednesday’s home-opener for Willmar, scored in the top of the first then expanded the lead to 2-0 in the top of the fourth.
Willmar answered with a run in the bottom of the sixth.
The Stingers open a two-game series Friday at Duluth against the Huskies.
