MANKATO — The Mankato MoonDogs handed the Willmar Stingers their fifth straight loss Saturday, 6-5 in a Northwoods League game before 375 fans at Franklin Rogers Park.
For Willmar (19-20), Brennan McKenzie had a big game. He went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and an RBI. It was the first home run of the year for the senior from Cal State Poly-Pomona.
Willmar is off Monday. The Stingers next play at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday at Mankato.
