Oglesby lead Warriors to win over Cobber JV

WILLMAR -- Ridgewater's men's basketball team dominated Concordia-Moorhead's junior varsity team in the first half and coasted to a 94-70 victory on Tuesday.

WILLMAR - Ridgewater's men's basketball team dominated Concordia-Moorhead's junior varsity team in the first half and coasted to a 94-70 victory on Tuesday.

Sophomore point guard Akeem Oglesby racked up a game-high 25 points and finished a perfect five-for-five from beyond the arc. The Warriors were strong from the three-point line all night, hitting 16-of-29 three-point attempts.

Jack Turnbull was also strong from distance, hitting five 3-point shots. He finished the night with 20 points.

The Warriors dominated possession, recording 21 assists while only turning the ball over four times.

Ridgewater will play again against Gustavus' junior varsity team at 7:40 p.m. on Thursday at home.
