WILLMAR — The Stingers scored more than 20 runs in a game for the fourth time this season en route to their 21-14 victory over the Mankato MoonDogs on Thursday evening.
Tucker Novotny struck out 11 of 14 batters he faced in 4.2 innings.
Brett Bateman recorded a team-high six hits, while tying Carson Hake for a team-best four runs.
Scott Anderson and Will Safford led the Stingers in RBIs with five each.
Willmar is tied for first in the Great Plains West Division with the St. Cloud Rox. Both teams have 42 wins.
