WILLMAR -- The Ridgewater Lady Warriors can't shoot free throws, at least not very well.
No doubt, better gun sights at the line would have helped on Wednesday night in a 82-66 loss to Anoka-Ramsey in the women's MCAC Southern Division opener.
"Free-throw shooting, that's the difference," said coach Carrie Ogdahl after the setback. "We made 7 of 19, the same as our three-point shooting. You make those free throws and it changes the complexion of the game."
The Lady Warriors lugged a 57-percent rating on free throws coming in.
The Rams (1-0, 12-3) led by as much as 35-13 in the first half and 44-29 at halftime.
