GROVE CITY -- A pair of five-run innings lifted Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City to a 10-6 win over the Benson Braves on Tuesday in a West Central Conference baseball game at the high-school field.
The Falcons overcame 7 errors for their first win.
Mitch Macki and Jordan Nelson each smacked two-run doubles in a the Fal-cons' 5-run third for a 5-3 lead.
Benson answered scoring 3 in the fifth off ACGC starter and winner Trevor Heining to knot the score 6-6. But the Falcons' posted another five-spot in the bottom of the frame to go up 11-6.
Heining gave up only 5 hits; none of the Braves' runs were earned.

Anthony Berreau, the se-cond of three Benson, pitchers took the loss.
Benson, which committed 5 errors, was led at the plate by Luke Schwarz. The senior shortstop went 3-for-3 with a double while knocking in 3 runs.
