BELGRADE -- A complete game pitched by freshman Brady Weller pushed Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa to an 8-4 victory over Kimball Thursday in Section 5A-West baseball.
In his second start of the season, Weller earned his second win by going the distance, scattering seven hits and allowing four runs. He also struck out four.
After surrendering a two-run homer in the first inning to Kimball's Ben Knaus, the Jaguar bats came alive for Weller.
In the third inning, BBE rallied for four runs off four singles, a walk, an error and a sacrifice fly. Anthony Rooney drove in two of the runs.
The Jaguars scored twice more in the fourth to boost their lead.

Josh Beier had two hits for BBE.
Tommy Linn took the loss for Kimball. He also slapped three hits for the Cubs.
