BIRD ISLAND -- BOLD and Lac qui Parle Valley split a West Central South Conference baseball doubleheader Thursday.
The Eagles (6-4, 6-6) broke BOLD's four-game winning streak with a 10-4 win in the first game. The Warriors (7-4, 9-4) won the second game 10-0 in five innings.
Sam Haas went 4-for-4 with two runs and hit a double to lead LQPV in the first game. Trent Hanson had two hits and three RBI.
Shawn Dollerschell pitched a two-hit shutout to lead BOLD to the win in Game 2. He struck out six and walked one.
Tyler Hebrink and Andrew Brooks had two hits each for the Warriors.

Minnewaska 16, Montevideo 12
Minnewaska (5-4, 7-5) stretched its 3-0 lead to 8-0 after plating five runs in the second inning. Montevideo had retired the first two batters in the inning.
The Thunder Hawks (5-4, 7-5) got within two at 13-11, but a three-run seventh sealed the Laker win.

Shane Bosek had three hits to pace a 12-hit attack for the Lakers. Mike Nielsen knocked in three runs, while Nielsen, Trenton Berg, Cory Holten and Mike Whittemore all scored three times.
Tyler Kuno and Colton Vien had two hits apiece for Montevideo.

Morris (5-4, 6-4) broke its four-game losing streak and snapped the four-game winning streak of YME (5-5, 6-6).

Mitch Carbert hit a two-out, two-run single in the first inning to get the Tigers started.
The Sting answered with a run on a bases-loaded walk and Dylan Hoffman's RBI single. A third run would have scored, but the runner was called out at third for missing the base.
Morris took the lead for good in the second by scoring on a YME throwing error and Tyler Hanson's sacrifice fly.
