GLENWOOD -- Alex Gay reached base four times -- twice on singles and twice on walks -- and scored on three occasions as the BOLD Warriors downed West Central South Conference rival Minnewaska 9-4 on Saturday.
The Lakers (6-9, 7-12) played poorly in the field to start and fell behind 8-2 after three innings.
Minnewaska's Taylor Kollman singled and doubled off BOLD pitcher Shawn Dollerschell, who gave up nine hits in seven innings. He struck out seven and walked four.
Kyle Seehusen added two hits and Tyler Hebrink doubled for BOLD (11-4, 14-5).
