KERKHOVEN -- Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg scored six-or-more runs in three of their four innings en route to a 23-2 win over Lakeview in a Camden North Conference baseball game Monday.
The Fighting Saints (6-4, 9-6) plated seven runs in the first inning, 10 in the third and six in the fourth. KMS did not bat in the fifth, winning by the 10-run rule.
Jonah Johnson and Marc Beckman smacked two doubles each. Johnson had three hits and three RBI, and Beckman had four RBI. Bryan Schlagel added three hits and two RBI.
Johnson pitched all five innings, allowing two unearned runs on five hits. He struck out six and walked two.
Ryan Kurtenbach and Nathan Mauland had two hits each for Lakeview (2-9, 2-13).

Dakota Freiborg threw a five-inning no-hitter with 10 strikeouts and no walks to lift Renville County West.
Dawson-Boyd had batters reach base on an error in the second inning and on a wild pitch after a strikeout.

Freiborg also doubled twice and drove in a run in three trips. Austin Link went 3-for-4, with an RBI. Brian Feldman doubled and drove in two runs.

Josh Guetter tossed a five-hitter for the win. He walked none and struck out eight.
