LITCHFIELD - Eddie Estrada went 5-for-5 with four RBIs, and the Litchfield Dragons thrashed Zimmerman 15-5 in the Section 5AA-West quarterfinals on Friday.
The Dragons play Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted in the subsection semifinals 7 p.m. Tuesday at Delano.
The Dragons put up a four-spot in the first inning off Zimmerman starter Mitchel Mossman capped by a Riley Johnson two-run double.
They led 8-5 by the fourth inning, and then put up seven in the sixth inning to end the game.
Five different Dragons had multiple hits, including Cody Klabunde (two hits, three runs), Braeden Wahl (three hits, two runs, two RBIs) and Brandon Behnke (two hits, three RBIs).

Estrada’s five-hit night featured a triple and three runs scored.
Ross Wendlandt picked up the win in relief with three scoreless innings.
