MONTEVIDEO -- Lac qui Parle Valley gave Yellow Medicine East a six-run lead after three innings before roaring back with 10 runs and a 10-6 win in Section 3AA competition on Tuesday.
In a game that was littered with 11 errors, Baxter DuFrane shined by earning the win for the Eagles with 4Xc innings pitched and just one hit surrendered. He also struck out seven while walking only one.
Ryan Streich, DuFrane and Jordan Schwarz terrorized the Sting's pitching corps, each smacking at least a double and a single. They combined for five RBI and they crossed the plate five times.
Travis Enger took the loss with only Zc inning of relief for Dylan Lindstrom, who went five innings and surrendered six runs to the Eagles (16-7). He also struck out five and walked two.
Tuesday's loss ends the season for YME with an 8-13 record.

Streich went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI. DuFrane scored two runs and drove in two more.
Enger, Lindstrom, Devan Dyrdahl and Hunter Lecy drove in runs for YME.

The Warriors (16-6) led 5-0 after two but Redwood Valley kept grinding and closed to 5-4 after a three-run sixth inning.
Warriors starter Dylan Gass struck out the first two Cardinals in the top of the seventh, but Dre Arredondo tripled. Gass got the final out with his 10th strikeout of the game and finished with a five-hitter with three walks.
BOLD's Shawn Dollerschell hit a two-run homer in the first and a two-run double in the second, then scored on a bases-loaded walk for a 5-0 Warriors' lead.
The Cardinals (6-16) pulled to within a run on Eric Weineke's two-run double and a BOLD error in the sixth.
BOLD leadoff hitter Tyler Hebrink went 3-for-4.
Trevor Sandgren got the loss. Sam Knudsen threw 4Zc innings of scoreless relief.
