MARSHALL -- Lac qui Parle Valley was limited to just one hit as the Eagles were blanked by Fairmont 11-0 in the Section 3AA semifinals on Wednesday.
LQPV (16-6) will play New Ulm at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Legion Park in the elimination bracket.
Ben Kane pitched all five innings for Fairmont to gain the win. He walked five and struck out two.
He walked three in the first inning, but escaped unscathed.
Fairmont scored three times in the first inning and added seven more in the second on four hits and four walks.

Joey Schreck took the loss. The Cardinals piled up 10 hits off three Eagles' pitchers.
Joey Duslo doubled, singled and drove in four runs for Fairmont.
