KERKHOVEN -- MACCRAY rallies past by Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 8-7 on Thursday and stayed perfect in the Camden Conference.
The Wolverines (10-0, 11-1) didn't take the lead for good in a see-saw battle until the fifth inning when they scored two runs on Darren Eschen's single and a double steal for a 7-6 lead.
KMS (5-4, 8-6) stranded five runners in the last two innings.
Caleb Hanson's bases-loaded triple gave MACCRAY a 4-1 lead in the third, but KMS also scored three in the frame, aided by a Jordan Helms RBI double, for a 4-3 lead.
Jordan Ruter's two-run double in the fourth put MACCRAY in front again, but KMS went back in front, 6-5, on a sacrifice fly and an error.
