NEW LONDON -- New London-Spicer scored in every inning but the fourth to win its third straight game, beating Paynesville 14-8 in non-conference baseball action Monday.
The Wildcats (4-6) had a 7-3 lead after four innings, then Paynesville scored four runs in the fifth to tie the game.
New London-Spicer, which started the season losing its first five games, exploded for six runs in the bottom of the fifth, highlighted by Mitch Ejnik's two-run home run.
The Wildcats also took advantage of 10 walks and six Paynesville errors.

Ejnik led the team with two hits and three RBI. Kevin Soine added an RBI double.
Jason Kampsen had two doubles and three hits overall with an RBI to lead the Bulldogs (8-4). Aaron Savelkoul added two hits, including a double.
Shawn Hatlestad went the distance for the win. He allowed eight runs on 10 hits, struck out six and walked four.
Josh Bungum threw the first 4Zc innings for Paynesville. He gave up nine runs, but only one was earned.

After issuing two walks in the first inning, Eden Valley-Watkins starting pitcher Tyler Geislinger settled down and held Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa to two singles while striking out 10.
Geislinger, who threw three consecutive no-hitters last season, allowed just one BBE runner to reach third and held the Jaguars hitless until Brady Weller singled with two outs in the fourth. Brandon Roelike added a single in the fifth.
Geislinger and Kevin Kramer both hit two-run singles for the unbeaten Eagles (7-0, 10-0)

David Yordi and Nick Buschette executed back-to-back squeeze bunts to drive in runs in the fifth inning and help Litchfield (5-5, 5-5) snap its five-game losing streak.
Brady Smith then singled in Eric Hulterstrom with an insurance run in the sixth for the Dragons.
